Gitigaanes is a microfarm run by Anishinaabe chef, Charles Catchpole. Along with his wife, Germain, they also operate Charger Foods and Mnopgwad Preserves.

• Sweetgrass Vinaigrette

  This sweetgrass vinaigrette is made with pure maple syrup, sage and dried cranberries.

• Flemo Fire Limited Edition Hot Sauce

  This is a limited edition hot sauce made with a mixture of hot peppers. All peppers were grown by us at Gitigaanes - our micro farm.

• Honey Jalapeno Vinaigrette

  Honey Jalapeno is a vinaigrette with minimal heat. Made with fresh jalapenos and sweetened with honey.

• Saskatoon Berry

  Our signature jam: available for a limited time. Great with a cheese platter, over wild game, or on baked bannock.

  Delicious on thumbprint cookies, as a filling for chocolate cake, a topping for baked brie, on ice cream or mixed with cream cheese.

  Wedding Hot Sauce was first made as a gift to the guests of my wedding. Made with roasted red pepper, balsamic, roasted garlic, and the intense heat of ghost peppers.

  Delicious on toasted baguette with goat cheese, used as a topping on a grilled steak, or an addition to a BLT sandwich.
